Lewy Body Dementia exists either in pure form, or in conjunction with other brain changes, including those typically seen in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Not all patients have the same symptoms nor are the symptoms quite the same as just having Alzheimer's or just having Parkinson's. We found many people were either attending support groups for Alzheimer's or support groups for Parkinson's or both but neither focuses specifically on Lewy Body Dementia and our goal is to fulfill this need.
